Been working on a Bachmann EZ-DCC GP-30 and thought I'd share some pics...

This is the Undecorated EZ-DCC GP-30 with a number of details added...

Cannon & Company treadwalk made a nice addition. It's very thin brass strips and though they don't make one for the GP-30, I did get the one for the Athearn GP-38-2/GP-40-2 to work with some modifications.

I added the MU receptical on the front pilot; a bell mounted in front of the fuel tank on the underframe; a new 3-chime horn; a new headlight bracket; journal boxes on the trucks.

Still have a speed recorder to add to the front truck and windshield wipers.

I sanded off the dynamic brake louvers on the sides and dremeled out the dynamic brake fan put a styrene plate over it on the roof.

Have a couple more parts coming in this week and then it will ready for primer and paint.

Nice Job!

And you're selling these for how much?

What's gonna be the equally winning road name splashed on?

Headlight brackets look like an inverted "2 light" signal head.

I'm only daydreaming about buying one.

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out.
"I love your catenary!"
Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Will have more pics of it soon...about ready for primer paint.

Though this picture, from railpictures.net, is one of their GP-38-2 models, my GP-30 will be in TP&W's orange and white like this...
