I recently inherited a Bachmann McKinley Explorer and got bit again by the model railroading bug. Been lurking here for the last month and building up my collection no thanks to fleabay.
Anyone else from around Western PA?
Thanks, Tim

Hi, Tim, welcome! Sorry, I live down in Virginia, but I DO have a friend up in Acme near Pitssburgh. If you see an AMC Pacer driving around, that's him. Anyway, if you don't get treated soon, that "train bite" infection will spread, and soon you'll have trains everywhere (ask my wife ) Or, on second thought, DON'T! That McKinley is a large train, I have a few, my Auto Train and Burlington passenger set is probably my longest sets. Enjoy the hobby, and we're here to help with your addiction (by feeding it! ).

Hah, thanks Jerry! Yah, don't ask my wife either. I got a bunch of items all at once yesterday. She wasn't happy. Oh well, she'll forgive me eventually. :D
This Bachmann that I got was from my wife's grandfather and he would have had rooms full if he could have afforded them/had the space. I think he's possessed me slightly, or at least that what I'll tell the wife! Hoping once we get to a bigger house I can set up a decent layout in his honor.

Hi Tim, I have a few train buddies around Pittsburgh. Look at "Ohio Valley Lines". It's a model railroad club in Ambridge.
