Thought that would get your attention.
While not exactly HO scale, I guess you could use this truck on a layout.
Forced perspctive, maybe?
When reading all your profiles, I noticed Micobusss was a toy truck collector.
You might like this one , Ben.
I've had this since I was around 5 years old.Rode all over the house on it.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

I can still remember my dad taking me to the local Cash & Carry grocery to pick it up.
He won it for me in a raffle at the store, in the early 60's.
I think most of these trucks were promotional giveaways.
I played with it, my daughters played with it, and maybe my grandkids will, too.
Don't have any yet, but the truck will still be here.

Actually, at one time it looked like crap.
Many years of smoking in the house made it really yellowed.
Look inside the trailer.
Mr.Clean Magic Eraser cleaned it up nicely.Made the colours pop.

tnttoytrucks.com is an even better site for these and other makes.

Thanks, Walt. It's a keeper.
Makes me think of my dad when I look at it.

Evan, either you and your family have an extremely light touch, or that thing is built like a... well, like a truck. I can't believe the condition; I thought you were going to say you found it in an antique shop. I had two of the old ride-on steering Texaco trucks from about 1970, but the plastic wheels always broke at the hub. They're both long gone now.

What a beauty.
