Yes I have my own telegraph pole, or what's left of one
Walking along an old ROW which was turned into a rail trail, I spied this laying off in the weeds. So, what else but drag it home? It's from a section of line that my dad worked, so there is some nostalgia. Unfortunately time and elements are taking their toll, and it's slowly crumbling away.

Those look just like the ones I see the remains of along the old abandoned railroad that once was the Milwaukee Road in my area. Your telegraph pole is in way less sorry shape than those and appears to be fixable.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."
