Okay guys and gals, post a picture of a Claddagh ring, two hands with a heart in the middle, crown may be included... state possible meanings for each symbol...
When I see/read enough responses, I will show you want I got... on my... Wedding day, August 25th, 2014... YES, I got married last week!
I promise that my posting this WILL be appropriate to this forum. But first, I want to see your input of pictures and literature before I give you mine.
I will be waiting!
John
p.s. this might fit with someone's JOTW, as in Jewelery Of The Week and, if you play TrainStation and are a member of TSBLA, you may have already seen what I got.
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Other than your getting married, I have no clue what you're talking about, but congratulations, best wishes and God bless!

Being Irish I can help you here. When a man gives the ring to a woman he loves she decides how to wear it. If she places the ring on her finger with the heart pointing towards her she accepts his love and binds her heart to him forever. If however she places it with the heart pointing away from her, she still accepts his love as a friend ( the 2 hands clasping) but is not ready to commit herself just yet. Kind of an engagement ring.

John & Laura "coupled" August 25th, 2014...
Instead of hands...

Being 1/4 Irish, I think this is a great way to express my heritage and passion together. Mind you, these are North American couplers, because that's where I live!
Enjoy!

Where did you get that ring? It looks like something your relatives passed down to you or something. Pretty neat!
