My AOTW for this week is a railroad spike souvenir I got at Mount Rainer earlier this year. I actually quite like it.

Nice collection of Ulrich trucks! I like Ulrich trucks; I have 3 or 4 and intend to restore them "someday."

Life Like Crossing. Love that combination of snow on grass. So cheezy it just squeals Tycomania. What the heck is that C&H Sugar by Tyco, doing there?

You just posted your AOTW two times on one page. I'm sure it's just an accident though.

Hey Badman, that's pretty cool! It's not the motorized set, is it?

Yeah Walt, I got it a while back at a flea market real cheap. And Glenn, this is not the motorized track, but the type to display your Matchbox cars on. Ben, I'll see what I can do about getting you a copy of the sign sheet. My scanner is down at the moment.

Really nice, Gary! I have over 30 mint boxed Matchbox regular wheels that I am going to display in my basement, sometime very soon. I may look in to buying one of the Build A Road sets for them... Do you think this set has room for 30+ cars? Just days ago I measured some of my old toys such as my 1969 Marx Train Set, 1967 Motorific Wildcat Set, and my excellent condition 1958-60 Superior Tin Gas Station, so I can make several displays opposite side of the basement of my train / slot cars layout....

We had a copy of this at our local library in Affton MO. when I was a kid. I would check it out over and over again but I rarely saw any other stamps from the library that showed that anyone else did the same. If I remember, this was the manual that showed a kitbashing article on cutting off the low nose on a geep-20 and swapping it with a Hi nose from the Tyco SD-24. I performed this procedure myself but with an Atlas SD-24 that I managed to ruin in the process. quote:I found this in the attic on my family vacation at my folks..

Pretty cool find, Lloyd. I wouldn't mind getting one of those myself.

I have a later edition without Tyco's name on it, but it still contains mostly Tyco products in it.
