My AOTW is a fishing boat souvenir I got at Sharkey's at Ocean Shores a year or two ago.

My AOTW is a Tyco ( Pola ) Rolling Bridge, not a common item. Haven't negotiated a price with the boss yet, but it's in my possession, anyway. :) I think I have all the parts to it, too. Kind of clunky operation, but a fun item.

Nice bridge Jerry...GIMMEEEE
Possession is 9/10ths of the law, right?

I found a real example of this type of bridge used near Wildwood NJ. Don't know if it is in fact still there. We are going there in September, maybe I'll see if I can find it.

MY AOTW (what I'm calling it anyway) is a Union Pacific-opoly board I found at a flea market. Missing a lot of stuff, I think most of the tokens are there. I'm going to put it up on the wall in the train room.

Ben, you paid HOW MUCH?! The Deal-meister, the yard sale KING of Nebraska, Dollar-man, paid THAT much for that?! Wow, you must have had it BAD for that BN green... I think I paid no more than 15 for mine. Wonder how many HO cars I can repaint in BN green to get you to spend THAT kind of money. Whew...I don't think I've even seen them sell on Ebay for that much. 25 maybe. Wow. I now know Ben's weakness....

This Woodland Scenics tractor and disk have been sitting in a box for a few years. I've finally gotten around to building and painting them. They're a diecast kit that I assembled while I had the epoxy out for a locomotive repair. The tractor bears a real likeness to a John Deere Model H, so I painted it green and yellow even though allegiance to a past employer makes me wish it were Allis Chalmers.

I'd really like to play that -opoly game, but I never had much luck with Monopoly.
My contribution this week is a Wiad 307EB mobile crane.
I was gifted it a few years ago. I think it's very cool.
I've seen unpowered versions in the old mags for a few bucks.
This powered version went for well over $200 in the 60's or early 70's.
Love it!

The Aerotrain just seems to always come back. This is one by hot wheels that is obviously patterned after the GM Aerotrain. it is amazing what an influence these trains had culturally considering what a dismal flop they were from an engineering and marketing standpoint. Quite a shame because it looks awesome in red....would have been a crazy warbonnet!
