This is what I am working with, all my TYCO / Mantua in 35 copy paper boxes. The top of the closet is on of two places I put all other trains not TYCO or Mantua.

This is how I like to pack them, they fit just right. The loose rolling stock and locomotives I try to bubble wrap as not to scratch each other.

Under my layout is the other place non-TYCO or Mantua trains go.

That's all Tyco/Mantua? There must be tons of different Tyco/Mantua locomotives and rolling stock to have to fill up that much space.

thanks for mentioning those boxes, I may have a line on some free ones every now and then, that DOES look like the "perfect" fit, wow.

| kovacste000 they are all TYCO! I am one of those fools who also collects the variants also. I might have 4 different versions of one item like the CP rail 50“ box car or the 3 different versions of the Penn Central C430. Trust me, it is a headache at time because there have been time when I though I needed a locomotive or a car, but later found out that I actually already had it. Since I’m not really one to keep doubles of stuff (Unless its rare or hard to get) I try to sell or trade it.

I'm not a big fan of getting doubles either to be honest.
