Is what I'm looking at actually real? That is truly a bizarre vending machine.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

These are now obsolete!

After a two year study of American colleges and universities. The government has elected
to shut them all down and replace them with a 6 week course on liberal propaganda.
Each person completing the course will receive a Doctorate in Progressive Studies and a life
time monthly government check. Any Person not completing the program will be given the same
Degree and life time payments.

Regards John

Being a cynic has two positive results:
1. You are never disappointed!
2. Sometimes your are pleasantly surprised!

The ancestral (early 1970s) college version was where a quick wit wrote above the toilet paper dispenser:

"Diplomas- take one!"

That was usually found next to the written instruction: "flush twice- it's a long way to the kitchen!"

Nothing changes....

That's a pretty cool machine! I like the instruction where it says it doesn't take $100,000 bills. LOL! I went to a local Community college, as the parents couldn't afford to send me to a nicer one ( spent the money on my older sister's education first ), so I never really got the 'away from home' experience. Oh well. I've managed, I own 27 cars and hundreds of model trains, so I guess I'm somewhat successful. Thanks for posting that.

I was at Michigan Tech in the dorms for a week earlier this summer and someone had written "Free NMU Degrees" above the tp dispenser in the bathroom... some things never change!

(NMU is northern michigan university, who michigan tech hates)
