There's a ton of pretty cool looking engines in there, thanks for showing us JNXT.

The only F3B unit there was the Lackawanna one. It was one only B unit of any kind there. It and the 2 F3a units Lackawanna 664 and 663 made the only ABA latch up that was there. DL&W 664 is a running locomotive. 663 still needs its compressor hooked up. The B unit went to Spencer with its paint still drying. Not this Saturday but next on August 9 I'll be on the Fan trip from Scranton at Steamtown to Cresco Pa and return. I'll get some pictures. F3A 664 will be doubleheading with Nickel Plate GP7 714. It will be something to see when the F3, ABA will be running on Fan trips. Steamtown has at least 3 running DL&W Boonton passenger cars. They have been restoring another 3 of them for awhile now. I remember seeing them in the paint show waiting to be done 3 or 4 months ago.
* Well happy railroading.
Here is a photo of the DL&W F3's coming back from Spencer.

Looks like a railroad scene right out of the 1950's.

** Gleen. Yes they are RS3's. Owned by the Delaware and Lackawanna Railroad. The Anthracite Historical Society that owns and maintains both the Lackawanna F3A #664 and the Lackawanna F3B # 665 Also own a X-CNJ RS3 that they lease to the Delaware and Lackawanna. Before the lease is completely restored, and repainted for the CNJ. The D&LRR owns the tracks in and out of Steamtown at Scranton and Though they use the CNJ RS3 all over their trackage it can most of the time be found at Steamtown. The D&LRR thro their lease with the AHS must keep it in the same condition as when leased. Upon lease end return it in the same condition.

* The AHS CNJ RS3.

Frank, is the Lackawanna B unit the CNJ F3B pictured in your Steamtown thread? (Just curiosity getting the best of me!)

All three F3As & B were original B&A . They were latter painted CNJ blue and orange when Mauch Chunk ( Jim Thorp) was their home location. Now they are painted Lackawanna Red and Gray. There home is now the DL&W old Scranton Engine facility.
