Before there was a Moko-Lesney making toy cars, Moko was a mfg. of tin toys and such. It seems they made a small assortment of diecast trains, a steam loco and a 4-wheeled wagon in different colors.

That is a very unique find from your friend, catfordken. Looks a lot like a more primitive version of those Matchbox trains that were made in the '70s which I got a handful of them from my grandparents more than a decade ago.
