I like to drive over to Bryson City during my Pigeon Forge trips. Went on Saturday and took just a few train pics.

Interesting how they have fixed up that caboose for excursion rides, or at least that's what it looks like.

They have rides and some train get together in September I think. Great Smokey Mountain Train probably has a website. I have not looked...

Is Bryson city just out side Ashville NC. If so I have been there. There is the Smoky Mountain hobby shop there and they have a fantastic LIONEL collection and layout.

I get there over the mountain from Pigeon Forge to Cherokee, NC.. Then it's just maybe 10 miles to Bryson... Went to the hobby shop there years ago...
