This quote came from the Civil War group on Yahoo. Hopefully MRC will make the best of all that old tooling.

> Model Rectifier corps has just announced that it will take over the old Model Power Line of trains. To that end it has hired Adam Tager, formerly vice president of Model Power to help merge the two product lines. So there is at least a possibility that the Mantua Civil War era models will issued again. On the other hand, anyone wanting Mantua equipment should probably still buy up what they can now to be prudent, because there's no clear indication from MRC of what models will be continued.

I had that thought myself around the time the news of Model Power's demise came out, but where is the source of their current unsold stock?

Hope they keep selling what they got and maybe restock on Mantua parts! Model Power tech kept telling me, "when the next shipment from China comes". That was a year ago!

Hmmmm.....well whoever has those warehouses might want to advertise it

Model Power is accepting no new orders, and the stuff I am interested in is "currently out of stock" at other vendors. But thanks for the thought Mr. Obvious

Model power being bought by mrc? You know what that means, Mantua lives!
