After being unavailable for quite a while, Walthers has brought back most of the Life-Like figures, but now they are sold under the "Walthers Scenemaster" brand name (it makes sense, since Walthers now owns Life-Like.)

I've always liked how they look. I do know unpainted versions come with a few of Life-Like's train sets (the "Farm People" came with my Freight Runner set; I still need to paint them!)

Glad to see that they're back!

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Don't want to rain on the parade, am always glad to see product brought back - but I see Walthers has also priced them in line with the Woodland Scenics figures. Does Bachmann still sell figures? Seems like the last ones I picked up on ebay were Bachmann and they were decent quality for realistic $$.
