Got this on eBay.
I have been wanting to build a Passenger C-Liner. Was going to use a AHM/IHC shell. But the price was right and it is sooo cool.

Right there with you my friend! I have a couple tucked away for later chassis builds myself. Dont remember if I have any green/gold striped shells, but I know I have at least two of the red/white/black McGinnis paint schemes.

That's a beauty, John. I have a pair of P1K's in Pennsy, but this shell was made for the 5 axle drive that another company made using the P1K as a starting point.

That looks to be a 5-axle C-liner in Sean's photo.

It is a 5-axle C-liner. They were a special True Line run. I think I remember hearing the reason there are so many shells out there for the NH is it was originally produced with the wrong number of roof fan vents. The extra shells were made as replacements.

Yea!
I wanted a five axle c-liner so the shell was great. It has ladders and a lot of details. I hope to one day to have a Athearn or IHC based 10 wheel drive system built for it. My wife not so gently reminded me of our impending move, when this came in. Back To packing.

Found this FM C-Liner on eBay.
This is from an estate. The guy loved New Haven and there is a lot of his work for sell. Most of it is custom. Looks like a modified Athearn drive system and a custom AHM/IHC body. Not perfect but a good custom job.

Someone put a lot of work into that. Were you the winner?
One thing I'd do is grind the back of the fuel tank to match the diagonal of the shell.

Nelson, No, I am watching a second one, but right now I am trying to get my home in Midland ready to sell. My multitude of posts the last few days is because of the weather. I am behind schedule and over budget on the house quest right now. The price of oil, a broken heater and the cold weather are not helping.
Hope you are having a good new year, John

Sold for $30.00. I think - considering the work that went into it, and the use of Athearn hardware, that somebody got a good deal.
