I'm a member of a Facebook forum on model railroading. As I was typing, a picture was posted by a gentleman that was awfully familiar to me. I tried to be as diplomatic as possible...

Oh my.....that is astounding. And quite sad at the same time, that he would try to post your loco as his own!
Gotta say a it had to have been fun posting those replies though

Don't worry. Stuff like that happens all the time.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

On the bright side, those 4 people who replied to the photo before you seemed to really like your F40PH model.

I was on a Facebook page once and a guy was offering a switcher for sale or trade. Amazing detail work. Turns out he stole the image from another member who quickly alerted folks not to do business with this clown. Someone was ready to trade with the guy. He sure dodged one.

Yea, There are people in many places on the net that will take your stuff, and not keep up their end of the deal. Too bad, the world is littered with people like this.
Their price is much higher in the long run.

The sincerest form of flattery, I guess. At least you were there to shut him down.
