One of my 70s Life-Like catalogs. Interesting reading and photos...

Cool AOTW, Walt. Anyway, my AOTW is a box that holds my H0 scale Rio Grande livestock car.

"A lot of modellers out there who go to these train shows see broken HO stuff and go, 'This is useless' when, in reality, they can still be used for modeling whether it's as a prop on your layout or a cool project to make something old new again."

Here's a neat blister pack Life-Like sold back in the 1980s and 1990s...
(Mine's in the 1991 packaging style.) Some nice stuff, but those street lamps are WAY too big. Maybe they'll work better for O-scale... I also remember those road barricades and railroad signals coming with several of Life-Like's train sets in the 1980s.

Nice set Wiley! I agree on the large lamps... Love the lighted billboards. I have a bunch of and had 3 in my hand tonight. I'm soon to hook up a strand of my light ups to see how well one transformer works for how many lights...

I believe I have the same set still in the blister pack too! Possibly with different package graphics though. I also have always thought the same thing about those street lamps.

That's pretty neat! The caboose looks like a Model Die Casting model. If so, it wouldn't come with marker lights.
Is it MDC? Did you add those marker lights, or get it with them? If you added them, were they a kit or did you make them yourself?

| Yes, it's an MDC/Roundhouse kit. The marker lights were a separate item that I installed. I already had an old battery holder and switch to make them work.

| That's a neat detail Adams. Looks like you've got someone sitting in the cupola as well?
