If you haven't ventured out that way in some time, check out the AHM HO-Scale Trains Resource. I've been added many new pictures and have expanded the freight car section with many new models and pictures.

The new pages include:

AHM's 41ft Hi-Cube Box Car
AHM's 50ft Thermo-King Reefer
AHM's 3 different Cattle Cars and More!

Soon, there will be a link to an AHM Model Kits section. I'll post when it's published.

Thanks to Gareth aka romcat for pics of the CNJ Alco 424...

Tony,

I have a few AHM loco's here that I can take some pics of if you would like to use them on the resource site.
Bicentennial GG-1 and if I remember there's a silver with red nose Amtrak?
Big Boy and other what my father called "mallets".
And a few diesels.
Don't want to stick my nose in but if you would like I can try and put some together.
Gic suggested smaller files so I'm trying a different size and cropping to see if it takes up less space. I took @ 25 pics but don't want to waste the space with any more if you don't think I should put them up. There are quite a few more I didn't take pics of. Most of the steam loco's you see were parts when I got them and I tried to rebuild them as best I could, even the Big Boy (I always liked steam), most of the diesels were reconstructed from parts I got out of the bins at AHM when they had their monthly open house and pictures & diagrams I found or borrowed, and yes they do run, except the Big Boy my son broke the internal driveshaft on. What was left over in parts went out in that package to Hypoponera.
The Bicentennial GG-1 is # 0591 of 3000

Thanks for the pics gentlemen...will take me some time to get them all on the site...it's very time consuming posting them.

One question regarding the Frisco GP18, did it's frame come in red as shown in the pic? I've got two examples of this model and both have non-painted cast-black plastic frames(pilots, walkways, handrails, etc.)

Uh huh.
I changed the format of the pictures and added some and there is the Erie Lackawana there and I know I have a MONON, but I don't recall if there are any more but I think so. I like that Santa Fe nice colors. Sometimes I am sorry i stopped collecting especially when I see some of the newer stuff out there or what I missed back in the '70's and '80's
And, Yes sir, that Frisco is how it came.

I used to have 2 of those SW-1's... man, they were great pullers!

ZZZ ZZZ Z ZZZ

P.S. I am looking for the Casey Jones 382 4-6-O...

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out.

Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Hey:

That Red/Silver SF paint job on the GP18 got me as does that on my Tyco 430's, GP20's and my Super 630 (Phase 1)!

Don't know why, but if it makes me aquire anything but an Alco or Baldwin it must be a weird obsession!?

The AHM GP18 was aquired as the locomotive part of a Starter set for a friends Son. Kids love bright "eye-candy"! It was also cheap in that I traded a Paul Revere Box car to NYC for it. I need to test it for reliability but if it works as expected I'm going to aquire a few per year and put together simple sets for kids who's parents can't afford them as starter sets.
