My COTW is an old Tyco (Mantua?) El Captain car.

Rec'd this nice trade from a friend in New England. Remember the little wax paper Bazooka Joe cartoon you would get with each piece?

How sweet! now you can finally trade me back for that virgin CP Baby Blue hopper and cherry red NIB CB&Q! That was January, how much more did you intend to keep me waiting, Mr. "Where the Hell is the Tracking #?"
I'll be checking my mail box every day. This will be quite lovely. Can hardly wait. Another 4 months.

A couple COTW - cars that I just finished tonight. The Bachmann NYC hopper started life as a Southern, I stripped it and repainted and decaled to add to my PC/NYC coal train.
The Burlington Northern locomotive fuel tender was originally a Magnolia Petroleum tanker - Athearn I think.
