I'll start things off with a Tyco 2-8-2. It has an old school open frame motor with rare earth magnets. I added DCC to it and it runs really well. Tom

I'd heard of the Cary Boilers for the USRA Mikado. It's nice to see one. That's also a nice job of painting and finishing.

My LOTW is an Athearn Alco PA I picked up at this weekend's train show for $10. Had no idea if it would run, in fact assumed that it didn't but just eyeballing it, it seemed to be all there and figured it would respond to a little TLC. Besides, I have always wanted one of these, I think they are about the nicest looking passenger diesel around and that it would be my best chance without laying down $40-$50 bucks on ebay. Took off the shell when I got a chance at home, it's one of the early ones. No flywheels but looks to be very well built with much more metal components compared to a current Athearn RTR. So, when I put it on the tracks I was expecting nothing, but wow it took off like it was brand new. Haven't eeven cleaned/lubed it yet. Needless to say it made my day So here it is, as it was bought, still have to do a clean up and get a set of horns for her but I'm a happy camper

Nice one Jerry. I have a few of those PA's. They are solid runners and can really pull.

Hey guys! The reason I haven't posted any of my OTW yet is because I'm on vacation right now. I'll be back posting pictures of my trains and stuff within a day after I get back.

I rarely run things anymore but I had my beloved Rio Grande GP38-2 out to switch some projects around and had a nice line up with the rest of the SLW diesels.

Here's my LOTW. An IHC Alco C-415. Sorry it's been so dang long. I was on vacation and now I'm finally back! Anyway, I got this engine for $15 as is a couple of months ago at a train show. Runs great too.I don't care if Rio Grande never had any of these things, I like it!

Our friend Mario's triple header, a fairly close replication of the Juarez to Chihuahua, Mexico train. All units are powered, I'm not entirely sure who manufactures the coaches, I think maybe Athearn. Model rail is one the rise in Mexico, according to our Southern Friends. In the local hobby shop, it is possible to get a number of Mexican models, but these are rather unique. El Paso Model Railroad Club, Thursday last.

Nice train. I own two Mexican Railroad Engines, an AC44 and a gp-50. They look great. I also have noticed that more Ferromex products are available on the market. Good to see.
