These won't compete with Siouxlakes' beautiful Athearn Great Northern crane and boom tender, but I just finished redoing a UP crane I picked up at the last train show into the JNXT colors as well as integrating a work caboose I recently received from cicsos2 - and thought I would post some pics.

This is a Tyco boom tender with the reworked Bachmann crane.

And this is the Athearn work caboose with a Tyco crane.

Let's see your work cars!

Personally, I think the Bachmann crane would look better with the Athearn caboose

I would show mine off but I'm too lazy to dig any out... besides the only interesting one is a custom-painted IHC snowplow that only got that way because I couldn't stand having any Pennsy maintenance equipment in dark brown.

Yeah well, funny thing is, I did plan on putting the Athearn with the Bachmann, but the length of the crane boom and the length of the car did not match up right - crane was too long for the car (or vice versa)

Here is a similar New Haven set I made about 5-6 years ago. I sold it for~$100. All were random (non New Haven) junk box Tyco cars I believe:

Who knows, I may see it posted again someday on eBay! Maybe I'll buy it back then!

Really like that set Sean. Very cool
Now I'm going to have to make one of those flats with the truck sets on it!

All of them look great! My favorite is the work train on the very top.
