This is weird. I just browsed into this video and was about to post it myself.
It's extremely freaky and mesmerizing to watch... I think it's creating an inter-dimensional vortex.

That little loose curved section of track laying in the center is driving me crazy.

Those diesels look like the old Bachmann GP-18s from the 80s. I have one of those!Neat video idk.

It's making my eyes do this:
I didn't know Bachmann imported those Mehano GP18's after AHM dropped them. He must be wrong about the wheels, tho; they're NS. They never made aluminum wheels, which would give off a lot of black dirt.
Interesting to see them doing such a good job pulling and pacing each other perfectly in stock condition. It begs the question, tho: Why would anyone have 19 Mehano UP GP18's, and over 200 silver hoppers?

That's the kind of thing my 10-year-old mind would have come up with if I had had the track! The best I could do back in the day was a figure 8 where the locomotive and caboose would barely clear each other, by about a quarter-inch, perhaps less, if I recall correctly.

To properly enjoy this, you have to start with a little motion sickness or vertigo.

My 10-year-old mind actually DID try it, UNTIL he realized he didn't have halfway enough track. Sigh.

Here's the Mehano GP18: /tyco/forum/uploaded/kovacste000/20140402223200_246413_LB_00_FB.EPS_1000.jpg And my Bachmann GP18: /tyco/forum/uploaded/kovacste000/20140402223620_IMG_0249.JPG They look pretty much the same to me.
