Hi all,
I am curious if there is a list anywhere of all the different bobber cabooses made by Tyco and Mantua.
These are the ones that I have:
B&O Canadian Pacific Reading Great Northern Tyco Lehigh and New England Pennsylvania (with keystone logo) US Army Communications Car Philadelphia & Reading Atlantic Coast Line Central RR of NJ Union Pacific Little Trains Republic Steel
and I know of these that I don't have yet:
New York Central Southern Pacific RCA Santa Fe Vermont & Truckee Pennsylvania (no keystone logo) New Haven
Anybody know of a list or anyone know of any that aren't listed here?
Thanks, Mark

Thanks for the info.!
Starkist? Really? What is "HRR?" Never heard of that!
I'll have to keep an eye out for them.
Anyone have photos?
Thanks, Mark

The Starkist Bobber was part of the Tuna set from the mid 50's.

| RCA was gray, red and black, I think. I believe it had a little RCA logo in the center, but I can't remember exactly. The old shield, I think. I was trying to win one on eBay a few months ago to go with my RCA Plymouth, but it got too high for me. I live outside of Camden, NJ, where RCA had their headquarters, so I would like to find that one!

That's it! Forgot what it looked like.
There were also RCA cars that went with it. I remember a boxcar and another car, but can't remember what it was. They said something else on them besides RCA.

I don't know about anyone else, but Mantua made two different RCA Plymouth Yard Diesels. One red and gray with the old logo and one with a newer logo.

59chevy, the Starkist 4 wheeled bobber is ver very difficult to obtain. Oh, by the way I have it and i'm willing to trade it. I don't need none of the common cars and I have a lot of the rare cars, so let me know.

Ha ha! Just found out about the thing and now I want one!
I don't have many unusual or rare things to trade, but if you PM a list of the things you are looking for, I'll see what I have.
Thanks! Mark

Thanks, Barry!
That is my "train shelf" in the photo. I don't have many photos of it, but more are under the "Matchbox Cars on Layout" thread. My camera is broke, so I don't have any up-to-date photos until I get a new one.
I am kind of proud of that shelf. The top two shelves are glass and there are NO wires showing anywhere, even from underneath. Gave me a place to display most of my trains and some of my Matchbox cars and most of my train accessories that I have.
I'll take some more photos when I can.
Mark

"The Starkist Bobber was part of the Tuna set from the mid 50's." Is this a typo? 50's, really? Picture anyone? Thanks.
Nice collection Mark. I never imagined anyone would collect bobbers!
