My SOTW is an IHC Canadian National 2-6-0 with an Athearn New Haven caboose. Why did I put this as my SOTW? Because I got both of these in lot of that loco and that caboose for $25. The engine is slow but I know it needs oil. Anyway, here's the picture!

That looks like a pretty nice set Stephen. How about a couple more photos of it sitting up on the track. I don't believe I've seen many IHC locomotives?

I've got an IHC 2-6-0 and it's never especially fast. I have had it get downright sluggish, once, and it turned out that cleaning the contacts that rub the backs of the drivers pepped it up.

I will eventually. It takes a while for me to take out my train layout.

That probably explains this:
It took me ages to realize that it said "Mehano" on the base because it's in such a funky format.

Those Mehano Moguls are slow by design. $25 for that and an Athearn caboose is a really good deal.
P.S. Stephen, turn your camera horizontal so it's in landscape format. You get a lot more loco that way.

Thanks for the advice. I use a cell phone to take my pictures though.

Sixteen car Tyco unit in motion at El Paso Model Train Club. The new old stock Athearn F7 soon melted the plastic armature holder shortly after this picture. That will teach me not to run a "B" unit. Sigh. Off to the engine shop.

If I remember correctly the two coaches and observation came from a local hobby shop's second-hand table. The GG1 was a train show purchase, and the combine came off of ebay years ago. It's tricky finding complete sets.
