This Hustler is rubber band drive and is shown here under power. It runs beautifully, and the rubber band drive has an almost yo-yo sort of fly wheel effect. If it hiccups over a dirty rail patch, the stretch in the rubber band propels it through with a gentle lurch. With use, the rubber bands require replacement every couple of hours of use.
