Here's my SOTW. A Hornby Flying Scotsman with LNER Gresley Teak coaches.

Very nice colorful sets shown so far. This next one depicts a
Southern Pacific set riding along one of its shorter routes.

My SOTW ....how bout Varney vs. Con Cor Aerotrains

Superb! How well do they run? Never seen a photo of these Aerotrains, and did not know that Con Cor made one. Only seen the Varney version in advertisements on the back of old Model Railroaders.

Speaking of which, PM me your address and I will find an old MR (we have scores) and send you a full page ad for the Varney Aero Train to round out your collection. No charge!!

The Con Cor runs like a dream and the Varney isn't half bad either since I repowered it with a can motor in place of the original open frame motor.

I like the Con Cor Aerotrain better than the Varney.
