That mainframe mouse cartoon appeared more than 20 years ago in either Mainframe Journal or Enterprise Systems Journal (depending on whether it was before or after the name change. Of course, it didn't have the trains in it.
Funny that it should still be around after all those years.
John, are those your creative alterations?

Don, Yes I stole the cartoon and modified it. I ran across the cartoon a few weeks ago, and modified it for model railroaders. One of the other MRH members and I have a running battle about knobs verses touch screens. I have been in automation systems for 30 years, but still believe that a knob is a viable solution. He thinks that computers can solve any problem.

I've had nothing but problems with electronic witchcraft for the past few weeks. I had an Android tablet a couple of weeks ago, and took it back when I couldn't make it work like it did for the lady that sold it to me. The reason I bought it was because a new IR keyboard wouldn't work with my venerable Palm PDA. Then, everybody told me Bluetooth is bluetooth, so I bought a bluetooth keyboard for my palm. Guess what? Thank heavens I don't run DCC!
