One thing always leads to another and in model railroading, one project lways leads to another...and another....

After I got the Tyco Santa Fe passenger set, I wasn't satisfied with the running and look of the Tyco F9, so I found a beautiful Bachmann F7. Which led to not being satisfied with the coupling distance between the F units, so I had some junk F7Bs laying in a project drawer...hmmm

Inspired by the Super Chief sticker I turned into a billboard, I got some Warbonnet decals, painted the F7Bs (a dummy Globe and old Athearn) and so now...finally I think....the Super Chief is ready to roll...

Too bad in my case those projects rarely ever get finished.

Great job on the B-units. I never would have guessed they weren't a factory paint job had you not said anything.

Very nice job on the B units, very convincing. And I love the way that the town has been laid out, nice flow to it.

Great looking train, great layout. I recently got into passenger trains and have various power units to pull my atsf cars.

It's funny how my interests have grown - a couple years ago I wasn't even thinking ATSF or Super Chief, now I'm all over it. It has some fascinating history. Would like to get a pair of Alco PA diesels for it someday.

Looks great, nice decal work, it goes perfectly with the bachmann unit and the tyco cars! Like the billboard as well, it really completes the scene.
