I have the Monon and it says Marx right on it.

There was a Hobbyline and a Walthers FM in that era, I tend to lean Hobbyline but it's hard to tell; their factory paint usually included a Hobbyline logo somewhere on the engine.

As others have said, the Monon is Marx and the B&O is Hobbyline.
