does the episode of "big bang theory" when sheldon puts a z scale in his mouth count?

60 years ago, there was a train accident here in nz, now known as the "tanigwai disaster". it happened when lahar from a volcano escaped and flooded a river, destroying a rail bridge. there was a movie made about it a couple of years back which used scale trains.

On one episode of the Big Bang Theory Sheldon is looking for a new city to move to and is ruling out ones that don't have a model train shop. On his nightstand is a yellow bonnet F-unit that looks possibly like Lionel or MTH.

In one of the Harry Potter films if you look closely you will see an Ho Thomas the Tank engine and a Percy running on loops in Prof. Dumbledore's chamber.

"Please excuse the crudity of this model. I didn't have time to build it to scale or to paint it." - Doc Brown

I was thinking of the immortal words of Socrates, who said, "... I drank what?"

Remember Garry Coleman in Different Strokes, he had a great Lionel set and was a true rail fan himself. Another great layout in a movie was in the first Stuart Little film.

An episode of The Dukes of Hazzard has a nice little Lionel layout in Boss Hogg's office. Trains seen later in the episode are also models, but likely much larger scale.
