Other than support ribs on the under-frame, I don't see much else missing.

No, they're there. I have a couple of those old reefers and under the coat of factory paint (heaven help if it got another paint job since), the doors are barely visible since they were just stamped as outlines in the cardboard sides. Those kits originally came with six little stamped-metal hinges and a funny piece that I believe was a latch or something that was the height of the doors. That was how you were supposed to be able to see the reefer doors. The vast majority of those cars lost the funny piece and at least a few hinges, looks like that one never got either installed. Replacements if needed are still manufactured here: http://www.yeoldehuffnpuff.com/SilverStreak.HTM
Also, what it IS missing is the old-style brake cylinder.

Those are the roof ribs, the frame only gets two cross ribs.

Those old wooden cars Ken.......... that paint tho is a tricky one, the side doors look to be in place, BUT are difficult to see in the lighting....BUT I can say a bit is missing underneath of that car.....the brake rigging is not present.....BUT that was a lot of times not added as back in the day it was the least seen part, unlike to day, when modeler's want to see the rivet detail on the INSIDE of the cars doors if they open and then the walls where the paneling as bolted in! (I had this mentioned to me once or twice!)
Looks like a pretty good car for a little fun "remodel"
