Hello

I just had a couple of boxes show up on my door step today from my brother. He sent me his HO train collection as my 5 year old little girl is big into trains. She has a fair amount of Thomas the tank engines.

Back to the question/need at hand. Would anyone have a tender body for a Tyco 638? The one we got has the mount for the coupling totally broken out. Of course, this is the engine she wants to run! LoL! I suppose it the steamy look!

Here's a little video we made today thanking my brother.

At 1:55 I show the engine.

Thanks!

When I go to buy a tender drive that is the first thing I look for-to see if it is broke there. These show up on ebay from time to time if no one here has none.I looked and I have 3 in the same condition as yours. Good luck with your daughter and the trains. I have 4 daughters and 1 son and it is a blast watching them runs the same trains I did at there age.

Here's my suggestion, I would buy a Kadee coupler box and a large hole horn hook like what Athearn and MDC/Roundhouse uses. Go to a local and knowledgeable shop too! Those truck mounted coupler pieces usually break off (I've had 2 like that over my time).
