This is my catch of the week, view #1. I'm having a hard time learning the protocal around here, so be patient. I won this AristoCraft 0-6-0 after losing the bidding on a 2-6-0 that I really wanted. This locomotive was auctioned as new, but when I received it, it wouldn't run. I sprayed it with some contct cleaner and let it set, but with no success. This morning, I was going to take a photo of it with the headlight lit, because that worked. Lo nd Behold, it arced at the brushes, so I slid it back and forth a couple of times and it began to move. Since then, it has performed flawlessly on my six-foot test track. I think I got a deal for th price I paid

This is another view of the engine sitting in front of the only backdrop I have at present. I'm proud of this engine, which looks more suitable for Sn3, but I'm still on the prowl for the 2-6-0. That's the one I had in the early '60's. Neat little engine all around, in my view
