Ben,
YEP there were B units.... it was to get the "consist" over 8000 HP....BUT the one modeled here is a Veranda Turbine, and they didn't seem to have B units. Those were the first ones made, as they had 3 2 axle ARR trucks, the later model Turbines had larger 3 axle trucks from GE I think they were of the CSC type if I'm not mistaken.
Heres the type to have a B unit:
I post this, BUT do not own the picture its from the fallenflags collection of railroad pictures....
Notice that this has 2 units AND a fuel tender.

AND now, I must comment, nice to see the CSX AND D&H in Cali.....AWESOME layout!
My only complaint? is that UP X-9000 loco............. its a 4-12-2.... and I ain't got one!!!!!!

Looks like a nice layout. That 9000 looks like it can pull a decent consist.
JB, why do you post those broken links with each picture? All you need is the IMG code.
