Wow, Ray...

TYCO? Tyco... I'm impressed...

I've never seen a Tyco look so good.
And the Athearn O-4-2T... I didn't know they had a little shifter switcher.

I remember seeing the larger loco on their older boxes, but wondered when the last ones were made.
They've come a long way.

Still can't believe that's a Tyco Pacific.

Good job!

John

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out.
"I love your catenary!"
Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

It is Southern Pacific.
I bashed a wrecked Tyco tender and an AHM tank car into a Vanderbuilt tender.
The link under the first photo shows some construction photos.

I'm not enough of a steam buff to fully appreciate your locomotive (although I did recognize some add-on parts) but that tender is phenomenal! [:O] I humbly bow before thee.

Ray,
Did you make the stanchions on the tender or are they adapted? If there was a good method to make stanchions I think we could use them on our Tyco GPs, Alcos, and such that we don't have kits for. Are the rivets added or pushed through the other side? [;)]

Thanks

I did make the stantions as a matter of fact.
I formed loops on the end of some staple material I got from a cartridge for an office staple machine.
The rivets were all original. The top of the oil tank is a side section cut from the old Tyco tender.
I do have a rivet embossing tool I made but I didn't use it on this model.
