While driving around New England on vacation last week I saw this New Haven RDC and a second NH RDC parked behind a McDonalds in Lincoln, New Hampshire. It looks like somebody took an F7 cab and stuck it on the front!

I found this picture on the web -They used to be in a museum in Danbury, CT circa 2004. My pictures aren't that great. The front is now coupled to the second RDC and there were trees around so it was hard to get a good picture.
They still look to be in great shape. Maybe North Conway Scenic RR owns them? (Unfortunatelly, I didn't get a chance to stop there.)

Rich, Did you go to the Show in Concord, NH this past Sunday, 8-18-13?
Wished I knew you were in the state, we could have met up.....At the show, I was part of it for the Concord Model Railroad Club, I'm the VP of the club.......
EDIT: Forgot to mention, you would NOT believe the stuff they do up there where you got these picture in Lincoln....... Was this taken on the opposite side of the road from the shops? OR was this some place in and around the shops and the station?
That station, used to have racks of old MR and MRC magazines for $1.00 each, Been awhile since I was up there but, I got A LOT of my magazine collection from there!

No, didn't go to Concord. The day before we did Mt. Washington and were on our way down to Brattleboro, VT on our way back to NJ. We stopped at "Clark's Trading Post" and the Flume at Franconia Notch. We came down Route 112 and stopped at the McDonalds for lunch just before we got to I93, and there they were! - on a track adjacent to the parking lot (across from the "Hobo Railway").
Now I'm sorry we didn't go looking for the Conway RR and shops
Maybe some other time.

Those are the Roger Williams cab cars, Budd's entry into the ligthweight streamlined train race of the late 1950s. It was basically a 5-car set of RDCs, lower by a few inches and the end units having cabs. The three middle cars had no cab control if I remember right.
The cab cars and one of the three middle units survived, the middle unit got converted to a coach and ended up on MARC if I remember right. The other two mid cars were scrapped.
