primer coat applied,remember the results will not be as good as a modelers spray gun as i use car sprays,but good enough for me ken
 base colour coat applied
 chassis
 still more to do,red lining,gold lettering,paint rear stairs,coal to add to bunker

Looks good! I still a part for mine! I got it with a Chattanooga 2-8-0 and a AHM 0-6-0T for $25 via eBay!

balboa/katsumi with rivarossi tender,lots more to do to it,handrails around the oil tank,filing the oil tank edges,oil tank lid?,black detail to loco,and more ken
 chassis has not been finished yet,so drive rods need sorting

Good looking locomotives Ken. That 0-8-0 reminds me a lot of a Southern Pacific SE-4. Nice choice of tender too.

thanks guys,all done with car sprays,i am pleased with results so far,ran out at the moment,only managed half of this one,ken hi thomas,glad you pointed the se-4 resemblance,the 0-8-0 in original photo is in fact an balboa/katsumi se-4 with rivarossi tender,as this is the tender for it,with the tenshodo usra 0-8-0,will post a photo locos with correct tenders this is correct loco/tender combination,usra top,sp se-4 bottom

Ken, That's a freight/yard pilot with foot boards.....One, I myself need more of and thought maybe I could trade off a few of my "road" cow catcher "pointed" pilots!

at the moment john,its a black oval with gold letters ( pGw ) all capitals but the ones on outside edge will be smaller,black edged gold numbers for cabs and ends,ken oval will be gold edged
 or i might use my family coat of arms
 without the black at bottom

Ken, That's AWESOME the Family Coat of Arms would be a good one. without ANY of the black, and maybe the "red" replaced with the "maroon" you used on the locomotives?
