Due to unfavorable weather conditions in NB it appears that Dumpster-Cam by MicroBen, has been replced by Toilet Bowl-Cam!!
Nice find, Ben...

It is. It was a BIN and I was lucky to be the first one to see it.

I've seen these in fresh Milwaukee Road paint running in Vancouver, BC. They are still running strong...
It's Athearn who quit making the model version.

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

I've seen CSX 86 foot box cars like those that Athearn made, I just can't seem to remember if they were single double doors, or double double doors, (IF THAT makes any damn sense......I know they are still pretty much in active service where they can be run, as they are so long some places do restrict them for their length....

Ben, Yes, that is VERY unusual, and ALSO, unmentioned is the fact that the "regular" or "normal" car, painted this way, was in a darker green with DELUXE YELLOW lettering! NOT white as yours has the lettering in!
NICE find!
EDIT:
Another.... post mark.....2200 postings

So, now, I ought to add my car of the week? Well, that's a damn good idea, however, I'm not sure which to add in here....The train show brought me home a few.....
WELL, Ben, I'm going to follow you.....

Ben's in better shape, (cleaner) and mine has one broken stirrup.....BUT, for $1.00 I'm not going to complain!

The Gilbert cars are still around and can be gotten. If you have a set box worth keeping getting the right car should not be to hard. The three cars you do have are in good condition and can still be run, and enjoyed. thanks for showing the cars. frank
