A news article on Wednesday used Domino Sugar & Pepsi to let American's know that sugar is now toxic. So now I know that I am going to die soon because I have been ingesting large amounts of sugar all my life(or at least the part I've lived so far). Two 2 liter Pepsi's forr me in a 24 hour period means certain death probably in just a few days... I'm doomed... and Tyco endorsed these products. As a kid, the Tyco Domino & Pepsi cars got me hooked on these products and now look where I am!!!
REALLY??? Is there any food or drink that isn't gonna kill us? Can the news add any more DRAMA to their stories to try to scare people & worry the elderly?? Of course I have noticed that News "specializes in bad news"...
Not long ago 10 TV had said there would be a "Rain Event"!! Now that rain has become an event, I can only wonder where to buy tickets to see it... and where will this event be held? When I heard this, I darn near dropped my Oreos into my Pepsi glass!

I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

Yeh, I remember, too, about 25 years ago,on the news , TV commercials, etc. they said if you eat more than 2 eggs per month you would die an agonizing, artery clogged, death.
Recently, I saw a commercial with a pregnant woman eating eggs and the commentator says, "eggs, nature's miracle food". My doctor said the best thing I can do for diet is eat eggs every day.
(Personally, I think that high fructose corn syrup is a problem. At my age, I just can't drink much, anymore).
Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.

If all this stuff is "bad" for you, how come people keep living longer? Or is that train about ready to crash finally? I think at some point we'll reach an equilibrium where we just can't live any longer. Although they DID find that group of Mediteranean ? people in Italy that they all routinely live to their 90's and beyond, they have a gene which prevents artery clogging. So I guess if they can gene-splice that for the rest of us, we can be playin' with Tyco trains into our next century. I'm not holding my Twinkies on that bet, though. <narf, narf>

Fresh carrots are lethal, and I can prove it.
How? Everyone who ate fresh carrots 150 years ago is DEAD!!!
It's enough to make you pull the covers over your head and shiver.

Nelson, Your a turd
I can say.....Theres a few things that are lethal....smoking, and Diabetes... How? I needed open heart surgery for the combination! Waited a month longer then I had? I was gonna be a heart attack patient!
BTW, I LOVE the eggs comment....I remember that about what? 15 years ago or so....My Mom and Gram REMOVED ALL the eggs from my home place! For about a year (Christ, just kill me now I thought!) Well turns out, they provide your body HDL Cholesterol....The "good" Cholesterol.....Its the LDL Cholesterol, that's the dangerous one......Thing is, while I was in the hospital, I learned a bit....The higher your HDL is, and lower the LDL is, the longer you'll live! AND to add to it in studies, if you have high LDL, AND HDL, you'll live longer but not as long if the LDL is low.....
Interesting? Yes! Why? Eggs are FULL of HDL the "good" stuff!
Real Butter? The freakin DEVIL! VERY, VERY good, BUT VERY, VERY, VERY bad for you!
