This is a stylized model of a 1900 passenger engine of the Great Western Railway in England. The engine is a much converted Matchbox Duke of Connaught that now runs on N gauge track although it is closed to 1/148 scale than 1/160. The boiler striping should be boxcar red like the frame but I liked the gold on the original Matchbox engine. The tender is a little large because it is built over a Bachmann N scale MDT Plymouth mechanism. The coaches are repainted N scale Annie and Clarabel coaches by Tomix.
