To lockout the reverse unit,if you stop the loco in forward,flip the switch the loco will stay in the forward direction. Lionel uses a 3 position reverse unit,that goes from forward to neutral to reverse to neutral etc..... By moving the switch you disable the reverse unit,and it locks the engine in the last direction. BTW,what engine is that Buss?
