Hello all. As you can see by my screen name I am in deep with this thing that grips us all, Love for trains. I have been making train sets since I was around 8 and as most of us I started out with good old TYCO trains. I have done layouts in N, HO, On30, O27, O and Large Scale. I have a N scale layout in the garage now and a large scale loop in the back yard. Currently I am doing a new layout in HO with my son so I can teach him the tricks of the trade. I have aquired about 10 Mantua kits off of e-bay, Little six, Big six, shifter, Mikado and a Pacific's. They will all be running on the new layout in the near future. I am working on a GP-20 collection too. I am up to 11 units now. Not going for mint units just one of every road I can get. One thing I am proud of is my scratchbuilt large scale Southern Pacific U50. I spent about 10 months making her and she was run many times out at the garden railroad at Fairplex in Pomona when I was a volunteer there. I have a thread on MyLargescale.com in the kitbashing forum if you care to see her. Just search Southern Pacific U50 project and it will show up. Now I am starting another project with a Aristo Craft SD-45 and turning it into a F45 in original Santa Fe paint.
I can't thank Tony enough for his TYCO sites. It really is a blast from the past.

John
