Well guys, I was unsure where to post any of this, and thought well why not? We'll make a "Part 2" of the whole thing!
Feeling pretty good I must say, was in alittle pain today due to my own damned fault, missed a pain pill and got it about the time, I would have taken it, if I had got the earlier one! Ohh well, live and learn, and sleep (reason I missed it! I was sleepin'!) 
Anyway, My current LOTW, and BOTW, and COTW have all been "Get Well" gifts....The President of the local train club, that I'm V-P of, and a few "shop" friends, as well......The President of the club got me this:
The club had gotten into it, on my first visit AFTER my surgery, with this:
The Ex. Vice-President, Dave brought me this:
I'm now the Vice-President, and as it is, no hard feelings Dave is a GREAT advocate for my shop, and I thank him for it, and as he mentioned the day of the voting, I live quite a bit closer then he does and he isn't able to make it to every meeting so.....He & I get along pretty well, needless to say!
Then, you got Family.....I'm going to point out only one, specifically, my wife, she come off with this:
Needless to say, this was brought to me while I was still in the hospital.....First thing I did when I got home was crawl my healing self up onto our sofa, and got it in the display case I made, for all my Articulated/Mallet steamers.....Thats where it is now!
The Crazy part? When she gave it to me, she says: "John, I hope I done good!? I replied: On what, she says: "This!" And she pulls it out of a small box, NOT original to Mantua....I gasp! Where on earth did you find that.....I asked back, in question, she replied: a Thrift shop about 5 miles from here, (the hospital) I was like wow......I said, yeah, you done well! smilling the whole time. She was like, well, no, I was meaning what I paid for it, I know what it is, and knew what it was, sort of, (She said, hinged, steam engine) I at the time, had to grab my "heart pillow" to hug, as it took all I could not to openly full gut laugh at how she put that one into words! And then she says, I gave $10.00 for it atthe shop I got it from (She told me the name of the Thrift shop but be damned if I can recall the name of the place......) They told her they didn't know if it ran or not.....Well, as I looked in awe at it while in the hospital, I noticed the motor type and all......Its Mantua Red Box era.....I said yet again to my wife, after she told me what she paid, Yeah, you done REALLY well! Then she says, as if you really needed another one....I was like "YEP! if you weant me alive and outta here, I needed another one!

Then, for the rest of the "family" Get Well gifts:
Clementine was NEVER out of the box! its still sealed shut!
I must say.....I'm not sure what anyone paid for any of this, nor do I want to know, (Only my wife "had" too)......Was a long trip, to visit me so.... and me, being me was worried that she might have spent more then she should have being what that loco was.....I was sort of glad to know so to speak! BUT my family mailed a box with what you see in this posting to my house while I was still in the hospital, and I'm now feeling good enough to get around to going through it alittle at a time.....I didn't get pictures of some of it, but the club got me some buildings to work on, that are mine to keep, for recovery as they had gotten word from Gary the President, to what I planned to do, for my own recovery, as he called my hospital room every other evening and had talked to my wife while I was in ICU on my condition at the time....So, I had alot of people "checking in, to see how I was doing, and what I might have been up for on any given day, and one of our own members here, had visitied me right in Dartmouth Hitchcock, Hospital, Lebanon, NH for a few hours.....Richard, he has made a few postings on my broken hand, when it was broke, and all for me as I had some computer issues at the time. I'm glad to know to have people to care and all, was a GREAT visit with him needless to say, as always.
And then, to know all of those here.....prayers go along way! Specially when your a believer yourself, you know THANKS everyone! I got a few get well cards in the mail from customers of the shop, and a few from members here as well! THANKS guys!
