I have a all metal brass geared single power truck Varney F-Unit and have a problem. How does it complete the motor circuit? I know the front truck picks up power. Just how does it ground? Its all complete minus couplers.

Front wheels, metal uninsulated one side, truck is then one side, with insulating frame bolster. Wire goes back to insulated brush. Other brush is grounded to motor frame, which is bolted to lower gearbox, which holds the wheels which are insulated on the other side. Often front truck reversed, so same power on both brushes. Dave
