I finally scored this kit off Ebay. Got it for an incredible low price $9.00 plus shipping. it is still sealed in the factory clear plastic bag. No box was made for this kit that i know of. It is the same as Dougs Drug store kit. It is molded in different colors than the drugstore. i do plan on building this kit at a later time and will do a video when i do - until then - pictures below

Sorry, I'm lost on this one. How was it sold if it didn't come in a box? Just in the bag as shown, or did it come in a set or something? Why was this one molded in different colors?

Newhudson - believe it only came with Chef Boyardee sets back in the early 1980's. It did not come with an outer box and was packaged as you see. This rarely ever turns up on Ebay
Old Reliable - Thanks - Yes price was great - I was surprised i won it so cheaply as i was prepared to bid high - that $50.00 dollar has been listed several times in last few weeks - this one was listed at same time the $50.00 was - picture wasn't as good as $50.00 - i have won many auctions whose photo was bad - but i have developed a technique to spot gems in the rough on ebay that others over look - have won a lot of items like this over the years :)Edited by - Brianstyco on May 12 2013 4:25:44 PM
