Went to a train show today and found some goodies!
Some Pics
Got these for $2 each except the crane. Pretty good deal, especially for the Canadiana one since I have wanted one for a while now! Now to hunt an engine.....

And got this for $5 for parts as one with a motor issue. Turns out there was brown paint all over the wheels! A clean up and a lube job and it is my first running tyco engine. And a bonus it is an alco! (Bit of an alco fan) It also needed traction tires but I used small o rings and they work great.

Does any one know who made these two? They don't have any markings on them, and the PC box car has a cast metal bottom.

That SP caboose is a Athearn. I own one myself. The PC box car is probably a Roundhouse/MDC kit. Some nice buys there!

Nice grab there Chris! I too, like the Canadiana.... I need to add one to my collection. I have always liked the small Life-Like crane too. It's very light weight so I used mine trackside coupled with a UP gondola full of junk....

Hey Chris, that's a good idea I didn't think of. I keep thinking rubber bands. O-rings.
That'll work for me! Thanks for the idea!
John
I don't have a one track mind. It depends on the turn-out. "I love your catenary!" Is that a power-trip or just another pick-up line?

I can get you the exact size I used if you want, they fit perfectly and they don't make it wobble ( as some tires can)
And thanks guys! I like the small crane especially it will look pretty neat with a tyco work car. It was a pretty good day.

"yes, Timmy... there is a santa clause..."
Yes, it was an entire Canadiana freight set. Sharknose Locomotive, three boxcars, and matching caboose.

Just for anyone interested the O rings I used were the size 008 with an ID 3/16 and an OD 5/16. I have also used size 009 which has an ID of 7/32 and an OD 11/32. They came from here ---->>> http://www.harborfreight.com/382-piece-o-ring-assortment-67554.html. They work well and grip the track pretty good!
