I stumbled across this site searching for something I don't even recall Found a fascinating thread on remotoring AHM locos and figured I better join up! I had a Tyco train set back in the late 60's, let the hobby go dormant throughout my life and just dove back into it in 2009. Boy, have I been trying to make up for lost time! I run DC and model the era that I remember best - the 60's (although time is fluid on my railroad). Really enjoy running and renewing the old equipment from Tyco/Bachmann/LifeLike/Mantua/AHM/etc as well as new stuff.

Lots to learn here, glad you're "on board" with refiring the boiler of model railroading in your veins. Stick around and you'll learn a lot from many of these guys.
