Hello, I just recently won the bubble Yum set and I noticed it did not come with a Bubble Yum piggyback trailer. Did TYCO make them or did people just take two trucks and put them on a piggy back trailer?

yes they did Spider has a whole set of Tyco TOFC of them
the TOFC should of came with 2 Bubble Yum trailers

GG-1 - There should have been a TOFC with that set - someone must have removed it - These sets along with Johnson wax and a few others were never cataloged - This set i remember being advertised on the front page of Sunday comics back then to purchase - You ordered by clipping a coupon and mailing to Tyco

Not quite a full "TOFC", but at least the "T" part ;)
The unique pieces to that set are the B339-W Bubble-Yum 50' boxcar, and one Bubble Yum trailer with Kenworth tractor cab.
There was no second trailer nor pigflat in the set. So if you want to make a complete Bubble Yum piggyback you need to acquire a piggyback flat car (easy) and second BY trailer (slightly more difficult). But the resulting car is worth the effort :)

Yes, GG-1... Tyco never made the TOFC using the Bubble Yum trailers. The Bubble Yum trucks was sold with the Kenworth cab & Bubble Yum trailer in it's box.
I displayed two Bubble Yum flat TOFC not long ago in a photo that I had placed the trailers on, along with some boxed Bubble Kenworth/trailers...
