Anybody here use contact lenses? I broke my glasses and fed up with paying $400 every 3 years! When you're near sighted and 20/175 un-corrected, ya blind!

Redneck, if you have a Costco in your area, join and buy your glasses there. We got a recommendation from an eye doctor who says their quality is just as good as the high-dollar stores. If you currently buy your glasses at a store where they make them in-house, you are paying a PREMIUM for them ( ie, instant service ) if you can wait a week, you can get the exact same quality lenses and glasses for $150 or less. Both my wife and I previously bought at Lenscrafters, since they do them inhouse, but we each paid over $300 for the glasses, I got titanium, which broke within 8 months, and they can't WELD titantium! Grrrr! Costco also has titanium frames, $59. Unless you have actual NEED for instantaneous service, go with the more reasonable service. My wife just picked up her new ones last night at Costco, and is very pleased with them. Another thing is that apparently Costco doesn't mark up their eyewear like regular places do, maybe they just make their profits on the labor, anyway, that's what I heard.
