Started putting one of these back together with a couple parts engines only to find my parts engines were missing their guts. I need one with the motor, driveshafts and truck towers intact, although I really only need a few minor parts. The rest can have the living daylights smashed out of it. As long as it's cheap.

Any AHM or Life-Like will work, later runs I'm not as sure on - the Premier Series is different internally, I started to try to convert one of those a long time ago and it sits somewhere unfinished because of the differences to it.

If anyone had a decent LV, Reading, Amtrak or EL GP18 dummy I'd be interested in that, too. Decent meaning no busted handrails (or at least none missing) and the shell and cab top intact.

These were the ones with the drive line similar to a "blue box" Athearn right? A can motor in the middle with twin drive shafts? The can motor had a horseshoe shaped clip that held it in?

Yes, in fact I may need a clip, too, but I can get around that with a little silicone.

I still need one of these. I bought two of them a few weeks ago for under $5 for both - only to have both missing motors and driveshafts.

If any of the driveline parts are the same as the AHM GP18, then I've probably got what you need.

Unspoken expectations are premeditated failures.
